Photos from Utica’s World Refugee Day 2017 Celebration

UTICA – Saturday was the city’s second annual celebration for World Refugee Day. Held at City Hall, the event began with speeches by administrators at the Mohawk Valley Resource Center for Refugees and elected officials Joe Griffo (R), of the State Senate, Anthony Brindisi (D), of the State Assembly, and Oneida County legislature.

The even also featured a naturalization ceremony of 18 new US citizens.
